We had a fantastic day on the Colorado River kayaking from the Hoover Dam to Willow Beach. Our guide Xander was beyond fantastic! He didn’t force conversations and seemed to sense when it was time to be quiet and let the river and canyon do the speaking with the incredible views. Bonus was his playing his native flute! His playing echoed off the water and canyons walls. It was truly magical!

Excellent kayak trip on Colorado River.
Tethya was attentive, knowledgeable, encouraging, and clearly enjoys her work. She checked in constantly with her customers as well as other struggling kayakers and SUP boarders along the way. Safety was paramount throughout the trip. She packed a lot of water and snacks for everyone. She even towed our daughter back for the last 1/4 of the trip without complaint. Always courteous and positive.

Don was the best guide!! We were early for pickup and that wasn't an issue. He educated us on landscape, neighborhoods, fun facts, etc during the hour to the launch spot. Very easy going guide and helpful to anyone who needed extra guidance.The tour is 4 miles with a five minute stop at the Emerald Cave/Cove parking lot for a quick photo op. We didn't experience crowds other than when our group stopped at a side beach for a mini hike. The wind and current picked up on the second leg of the trip back to the beach and we worked our shoulder muscles paddling back. Don says this time of year this is normal conditions.If you like kayaking, this is a great experience. The Emerald Cave was a cool and quick experience.

The guide gave an interesting and informative talk covering history and what a workday of the Gauge Station worker was like. This is a Natural History and Geology buff’s dream. Great pace and the guide does what he can to keep you comfortable: wet towels, cool water and a few opportunities to get in the water. Safe way to get out in the wilderness. Give yourself extra time to get there from Las Vegas, traffic could cause you to miss the trip if you drive to the meeting area. Plus you might want to stop in at the park visitor center. Note: If you drive, you will stop at the ranger station…the ranger had to see our reservation where it says park entry is included.

Absolutely stunning kayaking experience at Emerald Cave in Arizona—highly recommend! The views were absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Paddling along the calm Colorado River through the dramatic Black Canyon walls, with the clear water reflecting the towering cliffs and desert landscape, felt magical. Reaching Emerald Cave itself and seeing that signature glowing emerald-green water light up was the highlight—truly unforgettable and photo-worthy. Our tour guide Niko was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, full of interesting information about the area’s geology, history, wildlife, and the Hoover Dam era, and he kept the whole trip engaging and fun. He made sure everyone felt comfortable (great for beginners), pointed out cool details along the way, and clearly loved sharing the experience. Overall, a perfect mix of natural beauty, peaceful paddling, and excellent guiding. If you’re near Las Vegas or Willow Beach and looking for a memorable outdoor adventure, this Emerald Cave kayak tour is a must-do. Five stars!

Awesome experience
Faith was my guide. She was amazing guide she gave a lot of history as we were driving from Vegas to the launch area when we were at the launch area. She was very informative on instructions on kayaking so if you had very little or more experienced, she explained it to you as we were floating down to the Emerald Cave. She spotted a rattlesnake bighorn sheep, oh, and all it was a very enjoyable trip. I’ll definitely be doing it again.

This is an excellent tour. Xander and Rosalina were amazing at looking after us from when we first arrived and everything in-between. Ensuring we had a great experience and seeing all the nature that was on offer. We were so lucky to see Coyote, raccoons, an eagle and many more species of wildlife which topped off an already super experience.

This tour was magical and worth every penny this was are favorate moment in Las Vegas a memory to cherish. This tour lasted 5 hours from pick up from hotel. It was are first time kayaking and are tour guide Xander was AMAZING helped us on are way and gave us reasurance and checking we was ok They also was a lady called Rosmely who was great she took some pics of us when we was in the water. The fire under the stars was beautiful and kayaking under moonlight was breath taking I would highly recommend doing it even if you have never kayaked the tour guid explaines everything.
