Las Vegas Kayaking & Canoeing

Fantastic Bike and Kayak experience!! I would give 20 stars if I could!Here’s my break down:1# BOOKING: Decided on 6:30am trip on a Saturday. Got to Bike and Kayak on the same HALF day trip and still get back to the strip and not skip a beat.Most impressive part****** I was the ONLY one who happened to sign up for this one, and really appreciated that they didn’t cancel the tour on me, as most other tours would have.#2 COMMUNICATIONS: Gave clear instructions from the start. Picked me up in a nice Mercedes Sprinter van, both drivers so polite as to open the door for me both times.#3 EQUIPMENT AND PLANNING: Got lucky with practically, if not, brand new bike and helmet. Would recommend bring your own head mounted GoPro!#4 ACTUAL TOUR: Easy for even beginners honestly. Bike is mostly downhill. Early morning tour was great because weather was pleasant!Provided snack and water, you don’t need to bring anything except hat and sunglasses. Seth and the whole crew who were involved were the most friendly and down to earth people. I would do this again totally and HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We had a great experience. Everyone was very professional and welcoming. It was easy to contact the tour company for questions ahead of time. The driver, Joe, was able to provide us with the background on the areas we were driving through. Andrew was our Kayaking guide and he was really nice. It was a beautiful day and the views were incredible. The water was crystal clear. We liked that it was a small group of people. Since there weren’t enough people for our morning helicopter flight, the tour company upgraded us to a tour that included stopping to see the sunset & enjoying some champagne. We appreciated the effort they went through as we didn’t have flexibility to do the tour another day. Mike, our helicopter pilot, took good care of us and made the flight as smooth as possible. All in all, we had a good time! Thank you to Joe, Andrew and Mike!! Recommend doing the helicopter tour first though, if possible, as we felt quite tired after being outside in the sun kayaking for a few hours.

Our guide was awesome and very helpful as well as entertaining.. We really enjoyed the experience. My only request is that on load out and transfer after the trip. That the guide runs the AC in the van and maybe starts the AC as we're loading kayaks. After a day in the high heat a cool AC van would of really been appreciated.

**An absolutely amazing 5-star experience from start to finish!**We booked this total package tour last minute, and the customer service was incredible right from the start. There was a schedule shuffle the day before, but the company handled everything flawlessly, keeping us updated with a few quick phone calls for verification. Our itinerary was switched so that we did the kayaking portion first and the helicopter flight second—and honestly, I am so glad it worked out that way! It ended up being the perfect flow for the day.Like most travelers, we booked this vacation to escape reality and work stress, and this company delivered exactly that. Our driver for most of the day, Joey, was absolutely fantastic. I was feeling pretty nervous at first, but Joey is so entertaining and fun to talk to that he didn't give me any time to stay nervous! He is a true born-and-raised local who genuinely loves his city and the company he works for. It is so refreshing to meet people who have that much joy for what they do, and he set an amazing tone for the day.The kayaking portion of our package was run by their partner company, Blazin' Paddles, where we had Chelsea as our guide. Because of our schedule swap, my husband and I couldn't leave our lunches or bags in the van like the rest of the group, which triggered a major moment of internal anxiety for me on the riverbanks. Chelsea didn’t know the depth of what I was dealing with internally, but she picked up on my frustration immediately and jumped right in to help. She gave me massive reassurance, took our lunches to carry herself, and put my nerves at ease instantly. She is a walking textbook of history, has a contagious energy, and acted as our personal cheerleader—even motivating me through a brutal headwind on the paddle back. She made us feel completely included and went totally above and beyond.To cap off an already perfect day, the helicopter portion was breathtaking. Our pilot, Andrew, was incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Seeing the Grand Canyon from above is truly the ultimate experience and something I will never forget.This entire package was worth every single penny. If you are looking for an escape with a company that employs passionate, attentive, and joyful people, book this tour immediately!

We had no kayaking experience but Don at Blazing paddles was awesome! And Christina, our helicopter pilot with 5Star makes us feel safe and was a great tour guide over the canyon! We had such a great time! Our shuttle bus drivers were so great too! Steven and Joe were informative and courteous and everyone just made our whole experience wonderful!

Really enjoyed this excursion! Our guides Gianni and Luke were awesome and so much fun! Gianni was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and they amazing to be cleaning up the environment as went around the island.

Andrew and Jamaica were awesome Scene was great. Total experience was amazing. Would highly recommend this adventure.

You should know that although the flight is amazing, it is over the west side of the canyon, not the most famous or deepest/largest part of the canyon that is in the National Park. And the helicopters are somewhat cramped and not everyone has the best view if they are in the middle seats.

Once in a lifetime experience! Great adventure for the whole family hands down. Exceptional staff very knowledgeable.

Our pilot, Sam, with 5 Star Helicopter Tours did an amazing job! So much history & facts given during the tour - the flight was extremely smooth! A 10/10 experience from start to finish! Our tour guide, Jeff, with Blazing Paddles was wonderful! The entire experience was informative, beautiful & memorable. Jeff was fun, engaging & personable - a 10/10 experience!

We were in awe of the majestic scenery from the helicopter of the Grand Canyon , a once in a lifetime vision that can be seen closely in this wonderful transport . The Kayak tour to Black Canyon was an active and fun addition to our ride; we were on kayaks for 3 + hours , and we stopped a few times for snacks and took beautiful scenic photos. We loved our guide , Jamaica !The reservation people at 5 Star Helicopter were on top of changes , communicated well and made sure several times by email , phone call and text that you’re kept up to date and informed . Everything was very well coordinated and organized . I have no complaints ! Each of us had a mini lunch insulated bag filled with a sandwich of our choice, drink , and snacks ; Foods had Einstein bagels wrappings. Delicious !It was a nice change from casinos, clubs , concerts, and shows when in Vegas . I’m so happy we finally ventured out of our norm and added new experiences .

Very well run from arranging details, transfers with a very seamless booking in system, we both thoroughly enjoyed the day and the experience - Jamaica the kayak leader was very friendly and guided us down the Colorado river - the whole day was great and would highly recommend.
