Convenient hotel pickup, helicopter ride was a great length & facility. A small 10 person group for 2 helicopters and the kayak tour was a good size. Guide DON on the kayak tour was great! He was helpful, chill, & friendly. He even took pictures of everyone and sent you your batch of personal photos later that night. Kayak was about 3 hours and was an easy paddle up river & back. Great scenery and water was so clear! Negative- When I booked I thought we were taking the helicopter to a location then getting shuttled to kayaks then riding helicopter back to strip. Instead it is two very separate tours. You get picked up, go to helicopter business, do that tour, go back to helicopter business, take shuttle to kayak business in boulder city, get into their shuttle to go to river, then kayak, then go back via shuttle to strip.

Papillon customer service really lacking but pilot/overall experience good.
Papillon does not call to confirm times/place to pick you up, they expect YOU to do it. We were given wrong time on Cool Las Vegas site to be picked up and had to Uber to the airport at our own expense. They said they would reimburse us but they haven't as of yet. Also, when trying to deal with this mishap on the morning of, we were transferred three times on the phone COLD so that I had to re-explain everything 3 separate times. The pilot was great and overall experience was good but Papillon needs to really step up their customer service if they expect repeat business.

Best Tour for Engineering Enthusiasts
The top to bottom tour of the Hoover Dam was an amazing experience. Went there with my mom, aunt, and sister. We had a private tour all for ourselves which made pacing better given we had older adults and us being out of shape. Travis, our guide, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and kept us going with jokes along the way. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in engineering marvels and who want a more private experience of the Hoover Dam.

For $100 we got amazing experience on the skywalk and zipline. Sooo much fun. Made for a beautiful day. The people who work there were all wonderful and caring and made it feel like a family outing. Do not miss this. The Skywalk was not nearly as scary as I thought it would be. Neither was the zip line. So worth it. Had a fabulous lunch also.

Must Zipline the Grand Canyon - Even in August!
Our Grand Canyon West Bus Tour was absolutely outstanding from start to finish (including pickup and drop off at our Las Vegas hotel) and easily earns five stars. Sarah, our tour director, provided excellent commentary throughout the day—informative, engaging, accurate, and genuinely helpful. Kenny, our bus driver, was equally impressive, expertly navigating the twisting roads to and from the Hoover Dam with complete ease and confidence.The highlight of the day for me was the zip line. I have an intense fear of heights, but I still did it—and it became one of the biggest highlights of both the trip and our entire vacation. In fact, all eight people in our group, ranging in age from 24 to 73, did the zip line, and everyone loved it.Rain moved in after our zip lining experience, and the Skywalk closed temporarily when it was not safe for guests to walk on it. Sarah went above and beyond, running around the Hualapai property to let everyone on our tour know as soon as the Skywalk reopened so we could all make the most of the Grand Canyon viewing experience.Sarah and Kenny also did a terrific job keeping everyone comfortable on a very hot August day. They made sure we stayed hydrated and built in sufficient restroom and hydration breaks in both directions. Sarah also gave clear, accurate descriptions of the hike options at Guano Point, helping people choose experiences that matched their interests and abilities.It was a full day from pickup to drop-off, but every person in our group thoroughly enjoyed it. This day trip was 100% the highlight of our family reunion vacation and exceeded expectations for every generation in our family. We would enthusiastically recommend the Grand Canyon West Bus Tour—especially with Sarah and Kenny—to anyone looking for a memorable, well-run, and truly special Grand Canyon experience.

Amazing opportunity to experience the Canyon
Buses, planes and helicopters were all spotless and well maintained. All of the staff was very friendly and informative. Greatly enjoyed the trip and views of the Canyon. I would caution anyone with mobility or knee health issues against the boat tour portion of the trip as the climb from the river to the helicopter pick up point is quite steep.
