We went over Labor Day weekend in a bright yellow Jeep that was super comfortable for 2 adult couples. This experience is not to be missed if you want to go to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and walk along the Colorado River. The scenery is breathtaking. That being said, this is an ALL DAY event, not 6-8 hours as advertised, so please get a VERY early start to get the most out of the day. A lot of driving (7-8 hours) but well worth the time and scenery. One final note, if someone has a "bad back", you may need to go slower because the terrain is quite uneven at intervals.

Fantastic tour and a great experience from start to finish. Max was an excellent guide—friendly, funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He brought the history of the area to life, explaining not only the story of El Dorado Canyon and Nelson Ghost Town, but also how they connect to the wider history and development of Las Vegas.I especially enjoyed learning about the geography of the region, the mining boom, and why Nelson played such an important role in southern Nevada’s early growth. Max answered questions with ease and shared plenty of interesting facts and stories along the way.The scenery was stunning, the history was fascinating, and Max’s enthusiasm made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Las Vegas and looking to discover a different side of Nevada beyond the Strip.

FANTASTIC, well worth the trip. The wife and I love taking road trips together and Death Valley was a trip of a lifetime. If the only thing were to complain about was there wasn't enough hours in the day for what we would have liked to see, that was a lot, our bad. The guys at DIY were great, knowledgeable and informative about the area. They tailored the road trip via tablet, marked the trail and sites based on conversations with us and what we like to see. While they mapped out a route, we used the tablet they provided to choose some random back roads for a bit of fun. Would book again, 100%. Relaxed and hassle free gents.On our trip, we were given star link and SOS devices, in case of emergency, light snacks and drinks. Spot ON and appreciated.
