Overview: Unique and great experience where you learn how to operate a highly modified 4x4 Jeep to handle extreme terrain including crawling up seemingly impassible rock formations. This involves learning how to drive the Jeep yourself, not just riding along as a spectator. If you’re not a gear head, this may not be for you.Arrived at 7:05 a.m. at the designated pickup site (an off road truck shop in a warehouse area). Tim provided a quick safety and liability briefing, and we headed out by 7:30.The drive from the shop to the Moapa valley area is about an hour. Driving a soft top heavily modified Jeep is not pleasurable. Our Jeep was not safe and impossible to control on the highway because (as we found out later) the staff had not secured the sway bars for on-road use.Tim was a great instructor. Learning to rock crawl is challenging but completely possible with a good instructor. We immediately tackled a seemingly impossible narrow rock canyon. The experience was exhilarating! After rock crawling, we also took on other terrain including very steep washouts, sand dunes, and a fun sandy hill climb.Overall duration: about 5 hoursValue: For use of a heavily modified Jeep and instructor, $900 for two of us was reasonable. Gas station sandwiches and chips were included for a light lunch.Factors to consider before you book: (1) Plan on getting dirty and dusty and smelling like fuel by the end of the trip. (2) These Jeeps are horribly loud! We used a decibel meter app on our iPhones, and at highway speeds we consistently exceeded 105 decibels. We exposed to 100-105 decibel levels for the whole drive out and the return. At these levels, hearing damage is guaranteed. We recommend taking your own hearing protection.

The Slingshot we had was an automatic, which just makes things a little easier. And unlike the ad we saw it is more of a 4 hour rental which was also nice so we could go where we wanted.

I loved it and went over and over again. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!!!

Valley of Fire was a fantastic playground for rock crawling, from beginner to expert and the weather was perfect. I never had the opportunity to do natural rock crawling (only man-made obstacles and wooded trails) and was amazed at the capability of the Jeep (and myself!). Carl, our guide was excellent! The drivers on our trip were novices and he did a great job of explaining the terrain and spotting us through unbelievable obstacles. I will do it again ask for him if we vacation in the area.

This was my first time EVER pushing a slingshot. I had an amazing experience and the accommodation by Jordan and his team was top notch. I would love to utilize his services when I return to Vegas in March.

We had a great time!!! Justin is a great host!!! He picked us up from our hotel and got us on the road quickly. Driving around in the slingshot was the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend this experience if you visit Vegas!!!

First Off Road & First Review.Prepare for a lengthy one, we had so much fun and want the world to know!I came out to Las Vegas for my daughters Volley Ball Tournament last weekend and needed something to do while the kiddos were busy. My hubby and I decided a trip away from the Las Vegas Strip would be fun. We looked up some things on Cool Las Vegas and found this Off-Road Racing. We called up the office to get more details and we were instantly greeted with some pleasant answers. We call the office a couple times with questions and everyone we spoke with was very helpful. We booked our tour going out in the morning, they even offered complimentary transportation (kudos to them for that). We got to stop off at the Hoover Dam and get some beautiful pictures and videos. Then when we arrived to the property we rode this huge monster truck. Once we met up with the race driver, I believe his name was Ray (awesome guy!!), he was so knowledgable and helpful as this was both mine and my hubby's first time doing anything like this. We both did 7 Laps in the truck and even bought videos of ourselves so we could bring that memory home. After we ate a burger, it came with the best fries ever. I totally ruined my keto with no regrets!! From the moment we called, to the moment we were dropped off at our hotel we were treated with such kindness. I can't wait to come back and take my girls to come experience this.

SUPER GREAT EXPERIENCE! My group was scared to death but we conquered our fears and we did it! The guides were all super awesome and they made sure everyone was comfortable and ready before anything!
